My Pets

If you know me personally, my dogs are my world. Where I go, they go. They have all been adopted from homes that could not keep them. #adoptdontshop. River is the newest addition to the pack. He is a spitball of fire and keeps us all on our toes. Sadie is the leader of the pack, she rules the roost. Aussie was the most crucial adoption. He was abused by his previous owners and we had to teach him how to love and trust humans again. He has come a long way in the 2 years we have had him and we couldn't be more grateful we could give him the life he deserves! Don't let these cute faces fool you though... they are all aussholes ;)

Book Nerd

Yep. You read that right. I love books and especially Harry Potter. This was taken at an amazing bookstore in Kansas City-- Prospero's Books down in Westport. I could get lost in there for hours. I have always enjoyed reading but didn't take it seriously as a real passion until the last 5 years. I read mostly love stories, but I love classics like the Harry Potter series, The Chronicles of Narnia, and The Hunger Games. A few artists I have been into here lately are Colleen Hoover, Jenny Han, and Christina Lauren. I am also an avid reader of the Bible. My faith is very important to me!

If you ever are interested in doing a book trade or recommend a good book/author, let me know! Photographers tend to be really creative and have a lot of different little hobbies. Mine is books and journaling. I am an avid journaler and I also bullet journal. I love to draw, paint, and color in coloring books. There is something so satisfying about a room full of books and art supplies. Being a full-time student, managing many different jobs, and having a small business, I have to be very organized. Everything in my space has a place and you best believe I have to be organized!
